Driftwood Frame
Inspired
by a recent project at work using driftwood, I decided to do my very own
driftwood craft. I live on a small peninsula nestled between the Chesapeake Bay
and Patuxent River, so driftwood is plentiful and easy to find.
Project:
Driftwood Frame
You
will need some driftwood. If you do not live near the water you can usually buy
it at your local craft store or online.
Play
around with your driftwood before painting to see how you will want to attach
it at the end.
You’ll
need some paint. I just used some Basic acrylic paint.
If you want to do a sparkle accent, you will need some Mod Podge and your choice of glitter. You will also need a thin easy to handle wire to attach your driftwood together.
You
can use tape to create straight crisp lines. Or be lazy like me and free hand
it.
Paint
patterns all over your driftwood for a fun summer affect!
When your driftwood is dry arrange the sticks in the shape of a frame.
Use
your wire to wrap your frame in place.
I
did a last minute hot pink feather addition to complete my Driftwood Frame!
